James Semple House
The James Semple House is a historic home within what is now known as Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. Its design is attributed to Thomas Jefferson and it was built in 1770.〔
Future U.S. president John Tyler, a relative of the Semples, resided here while attending school.
It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970.〔〔 and 〕
